"Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.
The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership; we are self supporting through our own contributions. A.A. is not allied with
any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety."

Twelve Step Meetings exist for many afflictions. Alcoholics Anonymous was the original 12 step fellowship that launched in the 1930's.

Quick reference to meeting literature is important, especially if you're hosting an impromptu meeting. We have posted the most commonly used readings at Alcoholics Anonymous meetings and will continue to add more literature as we go.
We have begun adding in the meeting schedule for Alcoholics Anonymous and will continue to add in more meetings for other fellowships as well. If you are familiar with these programs and their schedules we appreciate you reaching out to us with the information so we can get it posted quickly for the community to use.
